HSS-Co metric thread cutting die INOX M2.5

Execution:
- Form B closed
- with spiral cut
- lapped and nitrided from M3
- fine chip distribution due to higher number of cutting cleats and longer lead 2.25 P

Use:
For machining rust- and acid-resistant steels, tempering steels, case-hardening steels, etc. up to 1,200 N/mm² and aluminium alloys with short chips.
The spiral cut allows the chips to flow freely forwards and reduces the cutting torque. Chip build-up in the chip holes is avoided. This results in an improved surface quality of the cut threads and a longer service life. All dies used on machines must therefore be equipped with a spiral cut.
